This year, the Sun is in tropical Gemini from May 20 through June 20, activating our intellect, emphasizing our connections, and accelerating change in the social spheres.
This solar season, we experience two major planetary shifts. Potentially the most anticipated, Saturn crosses the threshold of rebirth in the Zodiac, landing in fiery Aries for the first time in ~29 years.

Key Astrological Events in Gemini Season 2025
May 24 ✧ Saturn enters Aries
Saturn is the planet of karma, destiny, structure, and boundary. For the last two years, this Elder of the solar system has been wading through the final sign of the zodiac, Pisces. We, as a collective, are coming to a major completion, giving way to a brand new reality.
Saturn enters Aries on May 24 and will remain there until September 1, then retrogrades back into Pisces for one final lesson. When Saturn re-enters Aries on February 13, 2026, we are, once again, changed.
The Pisces-Aries gateway is one of rebirth. Of amnesia. Of grace. Of flame.
Take time, right here, right now, to reflect on the lessons you’ve learned over the last two years –
even the last ~29 years, since the last time Saturn was in Pisces, if you are able –
so that you can move forward in a good way: informed, resilient, and clear.
Saturn in Aries takes us out of the dreaming phase and into a state of aligned action. We, as a whole, are commanded to move through the world with commitment and devotion to our purpose, to our destiny.
This is especially relevant if you have your Saturn in Aries natally (born between roughly 1996-1999 or 1967-1969) as you are entering your Saturn Return – a remarkable rite of passage ushering you into a new phase of life, responsibility, and maturity.

May 24 ✧ Mercury conjunct Uranus in Taurus
Uranus is the planet of disruption, change for the good of all, and revolution. Moving in cahoots with quick witted and fast paced Mercury elicits innovation, swift or sudden change, and a sense of breaking free.
Later this summer, Uranus begins its journey through Gemini, marking the beginning of the end of the Uranus-in-Taurus chapter that began in May 2018. This solar season, we find Mercury, the planet of communication and intellect, joining forces with Uranus for the final time in the fixed earth sign Taurus from May 21-25. The next time these two planets meet, Uranus will be in Gemini. This is a higher (and final) calling.

May 25 ✧ Mercury enters Gemini
From May 25 through June 8, Mercury in Gemini opens us to new wisdom ways. The air is alight with intuition, threaded with belief, and shimmering with ungrounded potential.

May 26 ✧ New Moon in Gemini
The New Moon in Gemini (exact at 11:02pm eastern) is a karmic clearing. Let the slate be wiped clean by the hands of your highest self, your angels, your guides. It’s time to give yourself permission to exist in a new dimensional reality, to think with a new state of mind, to vision on high.
For this mutable air sign, the breath is a medicine portal. Feeling anxious? Experiencing racing thoughts? Rapid transformation? Accelerated realities?

May 30 ✧ Mercury Cazimi in Gemini
Mercury cazimi is a potent moment when Mercury, the planet of communication, aligns exactly with the heart of the Sun, illuminating clarity, insight, and divine downloads. Messages from your higher self come through sharp, swift, and soul-deep. Mercury is conjunct the Sun in Gemini from May 25 through June 5.
Use this time to get clear. Lean into practices that soothe the mind, making room for insights to land without vying for attention. June 1 ✧ Venus conjunct Chiron in Aries
Shortly after Saturn, planet of destiny, enters the first sign of the zodiac, Venus unites with Chiron in the same fiery realm. Venus rules love and devotion, while Chiron represents what we came here to heal in this lifetime. This convergence of frequencies from May 25 through June 6 brings your healing journey to light.

June 6 ✧ Venus enters Taurus
A few days after this sensitive checkpoint, Venus lands in her domain: the lush earth goddess realm of Taurus, until July 4.
Kick off your shoes and put your feet in the dirt.
Let your body be cradled by the earth mother.
Whisper in her ear,
stories of your pain,
of your power,

June 8 ✧ Mercury conjunct Jupiter & Mercury enters Cancer
The day before the planet of luck and expansion, Jupiter, enters Cancer, Mercury forms a final union with this cosmic giant in Gemini – the two planets conjunct from June 5-12. The same day this conjunction peaks, Mercury lights a path, setting sail on the moonlit sea, a beacon of what’s possible and what’s to come as we traverse an ocean of opportunity in the year to come.
Mercury, flitting ahead – enchanting, beckoning, and alluring Jupiter onward into Cancer – prepares our nervous system for yet another major transformation. Cancer brings our inner gaze to our emotions, to the high heart, to the divine feminine within, to our wellbeing. Note what arises for you over these 48 hours – they are a taste of what lies ahead.
Mercury will remain in Cancer from June 8 through June 26.
June 9 ✧ Jupiter enters Cancer
My mentor Virginia Rosenberg always says that Jupiter is a magnifying glass – expanding and zooming in on whatever it touches. Where Jupiter is transiting in the sky (and in our charts) can give us sincere direction, and aligned focus. While in Cancer (until June 30, 2026), no matter what realm is ruled by Cancer in your chart, Jupiter brings our focus to the feminine; to the emotional depths; to the misty, ethereal realms.
Cancer is a sign that is innately about responsibility, about loyalty, about soul ties. It brings forward themes of family, ancestry, heritage, especially the matrilineal lineage, and reminds us that we are living our ancestors’ wildest dreams. Right here, right now, we are living lives that only existed in their rebellious imaginings. It reminds us of the innate weight we carry, in protecting our divine right to live these dreams. It reminds us that if we aren’t going to do it for ourselves, we must do it for them.
